Recently I’ve been battling ants and when I opened my shutters to clean the other day I realized one of the reasons why…
Seriously, there’s a chicken nugget in my window sill… DISGUSTING! Of course noone took the blame, but I’m thinking it had resided there about two days! And remember to ignore my dirty window and the shotty paint job.
Oh how funny…..I’ve made a few of those discoveries myself.
It must have been “not me” who left it there, right?

I feel your pain and it never ceases to amaze me what I find when I am cleaning in the kitchen….and why we have the gnats and ants from time to time….

I have accidently dropped a piece of dog food while feeding our pup and not noticed… that brings ants in about 30 seconds! Even that small battle drives me crazy!

last night I went to tuck my little guy in and noticed ants marching along the wall… there was a potato chip beside his bed. Nevermind that we have a “no food in your bedroom” rule. The chip couldn’t have been there more than a couple of hours because we had just opened them, but it had drawn quite a crowd. ICK! I hate ants!!

Now I don’t feel so bad for finding corn dog sticks lodged in the crevices of the couch. Even though I have told the kids a million times NOT TO EAT ON THE COUCH UNLESS YOU ARE GIVEN PERMISSION. Thank you. I feel much better now.

I found an empty Capri Sun in one of the kid’s windows tonight! I’m amazed that ants didn’t come in droves for it. I never thought of taking a picture of the things that have drawn ants. You are quite the photojournalist. And now I want Chick-fil-A.

i found a chicken nugget (among other random food items) when we were moving our boys’ beds.
they’re not allowed to eat in their rooms, yet somehow i find an awful lot of food there! hmmm…
