Yesterday was our KidStuff Christmas Program at Cross Point. I was so excited because Jett, Gage, and myself were all part of the program… we were serving together!
Gage is one of those kids who walks around the house belting out his favorite song of the day. As we prepared for the program he would sing all four song “loud and proud” in his carseat traveling down the road.
However, at the performance yesterday I realized he might have a bit of stage fright. This is how he spent his time in front of the audience…

His fingers were in his ears and his costume was in his mouth… guess he’s not a fan of this stage thing. I don’t think he sung one word of any of the four songs.
There’s always next year.

Too precious! I want to wrap him up and snuggle with him. Hey, not all 5 of you can be performers, right?
Give him a big ole hug from all of us!!
Miss you!

My two oldest boys are the same way. Taylor (now 7) just sat down in the middle of his kinder performance, because “his feet hurt.” That’s code for “I want NOTHING to do with this!” And Zachary, the boy we’ve dubbed as the 5th Wiggle, just zoned out during his preschool performance on Friday. My boys are always putting on shows at home; singing, and dancing their hearts out. What’s with the stage fright?! Maybe Baby Ben will be the performer of the bunch…?
As a sidenote, what a cute pic of Gage and a sweet memory to boot

yes it does seem as if he maybe isn’t so comfortable with the stage and his dad must be. But nonetheless, he’s adorable, and I’m sure he added some life to the party.
